To be considered for use in our formulations, each ingredient must meet the following requirements:
- Safe for Everyone – All ingredients must be non-toxic and safe for children, pets, and those with sensitive skin.
- 100% Petrochemical-Free – We avoid all petrochemicals, including "plant-based" ingredients that are processed with petrochemicals, like sodium laureth sulfate or polysorbate 20.
- Earth-Friendly & Biodegradable – Every ingredient breaks down completely at the end of its life, returning safely to the earth.

The foundation of every great formula. A pure, clean solvent that carries active ingredients where they’re needed most.

🌽 Corn Ethanol (plant-based)
Nature’s powerhouse solvent. Breaks down grease, grime, and dirt without the petrochemical punch.

- Source: Made from renewable corn.
- End of life: Fully biodegradable in water systems.

🌽 Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside (plant-based)
A gentle surfactant that’s tough on grease but kind to surfaces and hands. Perfect for lifting dirt and grime naturally.
- Function: Lifts dirt and grease with plant-based surfactant power.
- Source: Derived from renewable corn.
- End of life: Readily biodegradable, safe for the environment.

🌿 Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil (Tea Tree Oil) (plant-based)
Time-tested, naturally anti-microbial, and safe. Keeps surfaces clean and fresh without toxic preservatives.

🧪 Citric Acid (plant-based | bio-fermentation)

Note: Cocamidopropyl betaine is a similar, but different ingredient that uses petrochemicals in its production. Coco Betaine is 100% petrochmical free.
